February 2024

  • Comedian James Gregory at The Tift
    Fri, February 16

For decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning: his shirt untucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It’s storytelling at its best. The trademark caricature is the essence of James Gregory’s comedy: rib-tickling reflections on life from the front porch. The James Gregory show turns the clock back to a time when life was simpler; to a better time, before the death of common sense; a time when people sat on the front porch and actually talked to each other without a cell phone in their ear. Gregory’s success, like his comedy, is the direct result of the values he grew up with. It is this unique brand of humor that packs the crowds into his sold-out shows. The absence of vulgarity sets James apart and his stories are carefully crafted art. “I have lived long enough to know people, know life”, Gregory reflects. “My comedy is based on my life experiences. It’s real, it’s funny and the audience loves it. That’s why I’m still in business.” Grab your tickets at https://www.itickets.com/events/475304?aff=BIT!

March 2024

  • Comedian William Lee Martin at The Tift
    Fri, March 29

You’ve seen William Lee Martin’s comedy specials on Amazon Prime and AppleTV, heard him on Sirius/XM, laughed with him on Carnival Cruise Lines, and followed him on TikTok, YouTube, and on Facebook LIVE during his “4 pm
Daily Talk Y’all”. This father of five, Native Texan is a self-proclaimed All American Mutt – a mixed breed who doesn’t fit neatly into any single box physically, politically, or philosophically. With fresh material and hilarious new stories in his Off the Leash Comedy Tour, he’s not afraid to step on toes, and still connects with folks who share his everyday problems in ever-changing America. His friends still call him by his nickname “Cowboy Bill”. This comedian will have you laughing ’til your sides split and you’re wiping away tears. Tickets will be avaliable soon!
